Mera Yuva Bharat, Mohali, organized a district-level Padyatra to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of India’s Iron Man and nation-builder, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Padyatra began at 9:30 AM on 13 November from the Sports Complex, witnessing enthusiastic participation from a large number of youth, citizens, and volunteers.

District Youth Officer Isha Gupta, along with several officials associated with the centre, was present during the event. The District Youth Officer informed that a similar Padyatra was also organized earlier on 10 November in Kharar. In total, more than 500 participants joined both events combined.

The objective of the Padyatra was to strengthen the spirit of Ek Bharat, Aatmanirbhar Bharat, and to promote national unity, self-reliance, and a sense of pride. The event also carried a strong social message of building a healthy and drug-free India, encouraging citizens to embrace the values of Swadeshi and self-reliance.

Students from schools and colleges actively participated and reflected upon the life, ideas, and exemplary contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Volunteers of Mera Yuva Bharat Mohali—Mohan Kumar, Tania Jain, Sushil, and Nirmal—were also present during the programme.
