Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy (An Autonomous College), Bela, organized a vibrant Fresher Party 2025 to warmly welcome the newly admitted students of Degree Pharmacy, Diploma Pharmacy, and Paramedical programs for the academic year 2025. The event was graced by the chief guest, S. Jagwainder Singh Pammi, Secretary, Management Committee, Bela College.
The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment. Dr. Shailesh Sharma, Director of the Pharmacy College, extended a heartfelt welcome to the guests and encouraged the students to embrace innovation and excellence in their professional journey.
He highlighted that pharmacy is an ever-expanding field offering diverse employment opportunities based on individual skills and qualifications. The program was filled with enthusiasm as both new and senior students showcased their artistic and cultural talents through dance, singing, and drama performances.
The highlight of the evening was the selection of Mr. and Miss Fresher across programs. From B. Pharmacy, Mr. Navdeep Singh and Miss Ravneet Kaur received the titles; from M. Pharmacy, Mr. Anish Kumar and Miss Jagmandeep Kaur; and from Paramedical, Mr. Kulbhushan and Miss Manpreet Kaur were crowned for their charm and confidence.
In addition to the freshers titles, several students were honored with awards for best actor, dancer, singer, and duet dancer. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by program coordinator Ms. Jaspreet Kaur, expressing gratitude to guests, students, and staff for their contribution.
The Management Committee applauded the efforts of the organizing team for conducting the program successfully and fostering a spirit of unity and celebration among the students.
