Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy (Autonomous) recently launched a three-day Popular Lecture Series, sponsored by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India The event was inaugurated by Dr. Satwinder Kaur from APTI Punjab Women Forum and principal GHG Khalsa College of pharmacy, Gursarsudhar with Dr. Anoop Kumar from Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences serving as the expert for the day. 

The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana, followed by a warm welcome address by Dr. Shailesh Sharma, Director of the college. He expressed gratitude to the Department of Science and Technology for their support and welcomed the guests, experts, and participants. 

Dr. Satwinder Kaur emphasized the significance of addressing antibiotic resistance, highlighting its growing concern in the medical field. Dr. Anoop Kumar delivered an insightful lecture on "Inside the Immune System: Guardians of Human Health," providing valuable insights into the human immune system. 

The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Rahul Kumar Sharma, organizing secreatry of the program. The Popular Lecture Series aims to foster knowledge sharing and professional development among students and faculty, and this event marked a successful beginning.
