Haryana Co-operation and Heritage and Tourism Minister, Dr. Arvind Sharma said  that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has consistently taken strong steps to empower women. He emphasised that the participation of every woman in the ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’, launched on September 17 , will contribute to building a stronger nation. 

He urged the administration, doctors, and the public to encourage every woman to visit nearby health centers for check-ups.Dr. Arvind Sharma visited the health check-up camp organised under the ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’ at the Civil Hospital in Gohana on Saturday.  During this he also distributed Ayushman cards to eligible beneficiaries.

The Minister  highlighted that over the past 11 years, Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has taken historic decisions to promote women’s empowerment. He stressed the importance of regular health check-ups for women to ensure their well-being.

The Cabinet Minister  directed  administrative officers, health department officers, and staff to ensure widespread awareness of the scheme in every household and to invite all women to attend the health check-up camps for free examinations. 

During the event, Dr. Sharma also distributed nutrition kits to tuberculosis patients. A total of 470 citizens received health check-ups at the camp, after which expert doctors provided guidance on appropriate treatment.
