Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy, Bela (Autonomous), Ropar, recently hosted a significant workshop on "Flagship Schemes" organized by Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), Ropar. The event aimed to empower youth with knowledge of government initiatives on health, skill development, employment, and entrepreneurship. 

The workshop featured expert sessions from renowned resource persons. Shri Praful Sethia, Lead Bank Manager of UCO Bank, discussed PM Mudra Yojana, Stand-Up India, and digital banking. Dr. Jasvir Singh, Career Counsellor, focused on career counselling, skill training, and employment schemes. Shri Gurvinder Singh, Faculty at RSETI Ropar, highlighted self-employment training and entrepreneurship opportunities. 

Shri Kartik Singla, District Youth Officer, emphasized the importance of utilizing government schemes for personal and professional growth. The sessions were interactive, allowing students to engage with experts and clarify doubts. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Shailesh Sharma, Director of the college, who appreciated the efforts of MY Bharat and the resource persons. 

This initiative has empowered students with valuable insights into government flagship schemes, enhancing their employability and entrepreneurial prospects. The event was well-attended by students and faculty members, who expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn about government initiatives. 

The college plans to organize more such events to foster student development and industry readiness. By imparting knowledge on flagship schemes, the workshop has contributed significantly to the youth empowerment agenda.
