Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Syed Fakhrudin Hamid, today chaired a meeting of officers to review and finalise arrangements for the observance of ‘Sewa Parv’ in the district from 17th September to 2nd October, 2025.

DC directed departments to ensure structured implementation of activities with measurable outcomes. He stressed inter-departmental coordination, community participation, and continuous monitoring for effective execution.

The observance will include activities under identified themes viz. Cleanliness and Environment, Education, Support to Elderly and Vulnerable, Health and Nutrition, Awareness and Capacity Building, and Culture and Art.

Departments were instructed to focus on initiatives that directly improve service delivery and key performance indicators. The meeting was attended by all sector heads and representatives from colleges, EOs of MCs, and other officers. Departmental action plans were reviewed and finalised for implementation during the campaign.
