GMADA organizes camp to hand over clearance certificates

Greater Mohali Area Development Authority today organized a camp to issue various permissions applied for by the developers/promoters and other stakeholders. Total of 45 clearance certificates were issued in the camp which was held at PUDA Bhawan, Sector 62, SAS Nagar.

Presiding over the proceedings, Mr. Vishesh Sarangal, IAS, Chief Administrator, handed over letters of intent, completion certificates, architectural controls, building plans, promoter registration certificates, zoning plans etc. to 45 applicants. 

Though the purpose of holding the camp was to hand over the clearance certificates, residents of some projects came up with the issues they were facing. The chief administrator patiently heard the grievances and majority of the matters were redressed on the spot. 

To cases in which deliberations were required, Mr. Sarangal assured the affected that the matter would be dealt at the required level and issues would be resolved in the earliest possible time. He directed the officials concerned to put up the cases on priority so that the grievances brought into notice by the residents could be settled.

The chief administrator emphasized that the authority was fully committed to work for intime disposal of the applications and requests be it of general public or promoters and developers and staff was being monitored continuously to ensure that the cases do not remain pending for long.

Expressing satisfaction over the processing of their cases, the, promoters/developers and stakeholders hailed the effort of the authority of holding the camp. They said they were fully satisfied with the disposal of their applications which were taken up in time bound manner.

Mr. Amarinder Singh Malhi, ACA (GMADA); Mr. Ravinder Singh, Estate Officer (Plots & Housing); Mr. Jaswinder Singh Kahlon, Estate Officer (Policy) and officials from estate office, planning wing and other branches remained present in the camp.
