A meeting of the District Level Committee on Change of Land Use (CLU) was convened today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, in his office chamber to review the latest status of CLU cases across the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Shokat Hayat Mattoo; General Manager District Industries Centre (GM DIC), Ravinder Anand; Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Ashfaq Khanji; Divisional Forest Officers (DFO) Ramban and Batote, Bishan Dass and Abhinav Ramotra; Chief Agriculture Officer (CAO); Chief Horticulture Officer (CHO); District Officer, Pollution Control Committee (DO PCC); Executive Engineers PWD Ramban and Banihal; Assistant Executive Engineer JPDCL, along with other concerned officers.
The Committee reviewed 15 applications for land use change, focusing on thorough scrutiny of documents and verification for compliance with existing rules. The Deputy Commissioner undertook a comprehensive review of the revenue records, case-wise status of NOC (No Objection Certificate) issuance and overall progress of CLU applications received to date.
Emphasizing transparency and efficiency, the Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of fast-tracked NOC processing and called for proactive efforts to enhance public service delivery related to land use change across the district.
