District Shopping Complex Parking and Beant Park in Ranjit Avenue to be Upgraded at a Cost of Nearly ₹1 Crore: Karamjit Singh Rintu

Chairman of Improvement Trust Amritsar, Karamjit Singh Rintu, today inaugurated the renovation and upgradation work of the District Shopping Complex parking and Beant Park located in Ranjit Avenue, Block-B.Speaking on the occasion, Rintu said that the parking area will be redeveloped at an estimated cost of ₹60 lakh. 

The entire floor of the parking will be reconstructed with interlocking tiles to provide smooth vehicular movement and ease for citizens in parking their vehicles. Along with this, the footpaths around the parking will also be rebuilt to ensure a safe and convenient passage for pedestrians.

Rintu further stated that the popular Beant Park in Ranjit Avenue will also be modernised. The park will be equipped with CCTV cameras and high-quality LED lights to enhance both security and aesthetics. All old and damaged equipment in the park will either be repaired or replaced. This project will involve an expenditure of around ₹40 lakh, giving the entire park a renewed and attractive look.

He highlighted that these development works will greatly benefit local residents, traders, and visitors to the area. The upgraded parking facility will ease commercial activity in the District Shopping Complex, while the renovated Beant Park will offer citizens a modern, safe, and well-maintained recreational space.

Rintu emphasised that the Improvement Trust is committed not only to construction and infrastructure but also to preserving the beauty, sanctity, and cleanliness of the holy city. He assured that all schemes and projects of the Trust are being completed with utmost quality and within the stipulated time to ensure direct benefits to the public.

On this occasion, Kamal Dalmia, Navjot Singh Grover, Raj Pratap Singh Bajwa, Gurdeep Singh Panesar, Rahil Kumar, along with several officers of the Improvement Trust and local dignitaries, were also present. They appreciated this initiative and expressed confidence that such projects will accelerate the overall development of the area.
