Haryana Minister of State for Sports Gaurav Gautam informed that for the year 2024–25, an amount of Rs. 1,00,77,000 has been released to the District Sports Officer, Fatehabad, as scholarship in the form of diet money for 1,150 players of 46 sports nurseries running in Fatehabad district, for the period from July 2024 to January 2025.
The Minister was replying to a question raised by MLA Sh. Balwan Singh Daulatpuria during the Monsoon Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha today. He further stated that in the financial year 2025–26, a total of 53 sports nurseries are being run in Fatehabad district.
For the selected 1,325 players of these nurseries, scholarships in the form of diet money will be provided. The attendance of these players from April 2025 to June 2025 is currently being uploaded on the nursery portal by the respective sports nurseries. As soon as the attendance is uploaded, the scholarships will be released to the players.
