The Rotaract Club in collaboration with Rotary Club Ropar Central of the College of Pharmacy, Bela successfully organized a Free Dental Check-up Camp for the students of Maharani Satinder Kaur Sr. Sec. School and Kidzee School (Bela) on August 23, 2025. The camp was inaugurated with a warm welcome by Dr. Shailesh Sharma, Director Amar Shaheed Baba Ajit Singh Jujhar Singh Memorial College of Pharmacy, Bela.
The dental check-up was led by Dr. Tejinder Singh Ji, a renowned dental expert, who conducted detailed oral health screenings for the children. The primary objective of this initiative was to promote dental hygiene awareness and encourage preventive care from an early age.
More than 100 students participated in the camp, receiving personalized consultations and advice on oral care practices. Dr. Tejinder Singh Ji also addressed common dental issues faced by children and provided guidance to parents on maintaining good oral health at home.
Faculty members, Rotaract Club volunteers, and school staff coordinated the event, ensuring smooth execution. The initiative was highly appreciated by parents and school authorities. Speaking on the occasion, a Rotaract representative said, “Our goal is to contribute to the community by organizing such health awareness activities.
We’re grateful to Dr. Tejinder Singh Ji for his time and expertise.” The event concluded with the distribution of dental care kits and informational pamphlets to all participating students.
