Dr. R.C. Mishra, a retired IPS officer of the 1989 batch, today assumed charge as the Chairperson of the State Police Complaints Authority (SPCA), Haryana. Dr. Mishra is a distinguished officer of the Indian Police Service with a long and illustrious career in policing, administration and public service.
On assuming office, Dr. Mishra emphasized that the SPCA will serve as a fair, transparent, and accessible forum for citizens seeking justice in cases of alleged police misconduct. He said the Authority will ensure that all cases are examined objectively, without fear or favour, and that processes will be transparent, with complainants kept informed at every stage.
