Grand Bike, Car Tiranga Rally held at Banihal to mark 79th Independence Day

The District Administration Ramban today organized a Grand Bike and Car Tiranga Rally at Banihal as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign to mark the celebration of 79th Independence Day. Led by Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, the rally commenced from the Truck Yard near Navyug Tunnel, passed through Kharpura Chowk via Banihal Market, and culminated at Truck Yard Lamber. 

The event saw enthusiastic participation of over 300 bikes and a large number of cars. The Deputy Commissioner drives bike over 15 km while participating in Tiranga Rally. The rally witnessed participation of SSP Ramban Arun Gupta, SSP Traffic NHW Raja Adil Hamid, ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak, Addl. SP Ramban Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, SDM Banihal Mohammad Naseeb Bajraan, Youth, Social Workers, members of the Beopar Mandal, and other senior officers.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the District Administration has organized a series of patriotic events across the district to ignite a sense of nationalism and patriotism among the people. He   encouraged citizens, especially the youth, to actively participate in the celebrations of the 79th Independence Day in their respective areas. 

Emphasizing the significance of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the DC urged citizens to hoist the National Flag atop their homes to celebrate Independence Day. The DC further urged people to embrace the campaign’s theme of “Har Ghar Tiranga, Swachhta Abhiyan and Painting and Other Competition.
