Har Ghar Tiranga: patriotic slogans echo during Tiranga Rally in Bandipora

In a spectacular display of patriotism and community spirit, the District Administration Bandipora on Monday organised a Mega Tiranga Rally under the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2025, as part of the run-up to the Independence Day celebrations. On the occasion, MLA Bandipora Nizamuddin Bhat, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, and SSP Bandipora Harmeet Singh led the rally from the premises of the Mini Secretariat Bandipora to SK Stadium Bandipora, accompanied by a large contingent of women and children.

The event witnessed massive participation from people of all walks of life including senior officers from the district administration and police,  students, women, youth, senior citizens, and the general public. Thousands of participants proudly waved the Tiranga, filling the air with slogans and songs of patriotism, symbolising unity, freedom, and national pride. 

The rally served as a vibrant celebration of India’s national identity and reflected the collective commitment of the people of Bandipora to the values enshrined in the Tricolour. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Bandipora Nizamuddin Bhat lauded the enthusiastic participation of students, youth, and citizens, and said the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign aims to strengthen the spirit of nationalism and encourage every household to hoist the national flag. 

He emphasised that the rally was part of a series of activities being conducted across the district in the run-up to Independence Day, fostering a shared sense of belonging and unity. Similar Tiranga rallies were also held across subdivisions including Gurez, Sumbal, and other areas, organised by various departments, municipal bodies, and local institutions, ensuring that the patriotic fervour reached every corner of the district.
