In a major push towards youth empowerment and self-employment, the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) Baramulla, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Minga Sherpa, approved 315 cases under the Mission YUVA initiative today at the VC Hall, DC office Baramulla.

While reviewing the scheme’s progress, DC appreciated the commendable efforts of the SBDU team and directed them to maintain the momentum in case verification. He emphasized the need to extend all necessary support to applicants to ensure timely processing and effective handholding.

Officers were also instructed to expedite the application processing to ensure prompt assistance to beneficiaries. The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Baramulla, DDM NABARD, officers from Employment, Social Welfare, and other concerned departments besides  bank representatives and other officials from the Employment department.
