Haryana's Transport Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that in the Common Entrance Test (CET), officers and employees from all departments, along with the candidates, participated with high enthusiasm and purpose, which is the reason the CET examination is moving towards success. He added that transporting/organizing exam over 13 lakh candidates across four shifts in two days to the examination centres was a huge responsibility.

To recognize the efforts, Sh. Vij encouraged the drivers on duty from 5 a.m. by patting their backs and applauding them. He further said that the smiling faces of the candidates were clear signs that the transport arrangements were in good order.

Sh. Vij was speaking to media persons after inspecting the arrangements made by the Transport Department at Ambala Cantonment Bus Stand for the CET examination.

"Along with providing bus services to CET candidates, ensuring transport for the general public was also a major task" – Vij

The Minister said that “Along with arranging buses for CET candidates, we also had to ensure services for the general public, especially because of the Teej festival and the weekend (Saturday-Sunday), when travel demand is high. We paid equal attention to public passengers.

I personally spoke with candidates, and their happy faces indicate they are fully satisfied with the transport services.”

"No goal can be achieved without the meaningful participation of the staff" – Vij

Sh. Vij added that “I have also spoken to our transport staff. No goal can be fulfilled without their meaningful involvement. Our staff was on duty from 5 a.m., and they performed their duties commendably.

All officers and employees are fulfilling their responsibilities sincerely to ensure the CET exam is conducted successfully.” The Transport Minister further informed that IAS officers, police personnel, transport staff, and district-level administration all participated sincerely in making the CET exam successful – and the exam is being successfully conducted.

"Festivals are celebrated with emotion; without emotion, no celebration is possible" – Vij

Responding to a question about the government conducting the CET exam like a festival for the first time, Sh. Vij said that "Festivals are always celebrated with emotion. Without emotion, no festival can truly happen. For example, if your heart is burdened, you can’t even light a Diwali lamp." He reiterated that officers, staff, and candidates all participated with high spirit and purpose, which is why the CET is progressing smoothly.
