The District Administration Doda today solemnly observed “Samvidhan Hatya Diwas” at the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex, in alignment with the National theme, "Upholding Constitutional Morality and Safeguarding Democratic Institutions."

The event was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh and witnessed the participation of Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda Anil Kumar Thakur, Programme Officer ICDS, Chief Planning Officer Doda, ACD, ACP and officers from various line departments.

Prominent political leader and social activist Mast Nath Yogi highlighting the significance of observing the day and the collective duty of citizens to protect the sanctity of the Indian Constitution. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the Constitution of India and resisting any attempts that undermine its core principles. 

DC Doda emphasized the need for collective responsibility in safeguarding the values of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity as enshrined in the Constitution. Participants also took a pledge to uphold constitutional morality, promote democratic values, and work towards strengthening democratic institutions at every level of governance.
