In a proactive move to enhance transparency and ensure effective public service delivery, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Shishir Gupta Saturday conducted an extensive visit across several key government offices and healthcare institutions in subdivision Zainapora.
DC visited Tehsil Office Imam Sahib & Hermain, BDO Office Zainapora, PHC DK Pora and PHC Hermain. During the visit, DC reviewed the functioning of these offices with a focus on healthcare facilities, revenue administration and rural development services.
He closely examined attendance records, inspected official registers, and interacted with staff to assess on-ground performance. Special attention was given to the availability of health services and the quality of patient care in the Primary Health Centres.
At the revenue offices, DC inspected land records, mutation registers, and overall service responsiveness. He emphasized the importance of punctuality, accountability and efficient service delivery, directing officers to maintain updated records and remain responsive to the public needs.
DC was accompanied by ADC Shopian, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz; SDM Zainapora, BDO Zainapora, and other concerned officers.
