Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, today chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of the ongoing IEC campaign against drugs under Nasha Mukt JK Abhiyan. During the meeting, DC took stock of the awareness activities conducted in various educational institutions, Panchayats and ULB's.
He also reviewed the role of nodal departments in ensuring the effective implementation of the campaign. Key issues including inadequate display of IEC materials, limited video screenings, incomplete uploading of event and participant details, and absenteeism of designated resource persons were discussed.
DC directed all officers and event coordinators to ensure that all organized events are promptly uploaded on the designated portal. He further instructed the concerned to ensure maximum community participation and visibility of awareness content to achieve the intended impact.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Assistant Commissioner Development Baramulla, District Social Welfare Officer, various other officers, event coordinators participated in the meeting.
