Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that the Night Food Street being constructed in Ambala Cantonment will offer delicious dishes from every state for people to enjoy. Food lovers will be able to relish a wide variety of cuisines right in Ambala Cantonment. 

He said that this market will be completed in approximately two months. Sh.Vij emphasized that the Night Food Street will not only provide indirect employment but will also become a major attraction for the public.

Today, Sh. Vij conduct a surprise inspection visit to the under-construction Night Food Street market next to Gandhi Ground in Ambala Cantonment and reviewed the ongoing construction work. During the inspection, he issued instructions to municipal council officials.

During the inspection, the Energy and Transport Minister said that the entire market will be air-conditioned and will feature a total of 60 shops – 40 vegetarian and 20 non-vegetarian. There will also be a common seating area for visitors and a dedicated parking facility adjacent to the Night Food Street.

Night Food Street Will Be Ready in Two Months – Vij

Sh.Anil Vij said that the Night Food Street will be completed within the next two months, and once the shops are allotted, people will be able to enjoy dishes from every state in India. He added that the market will be decorated and beautified to enhance the experience for visitors. Granite flooring and other amenities are also being provided.

Treatment Plant to Be set up at Night Food Street, Water Will Be Treated Before Being Discharged – Vij

He further said that a treatment plant will be set up at the Night Food Street. Wastewater and food waste from the shops will be treated before being discharged into the drain, preventing pollution.

It is noteworthy that the Night Food Street project beside Gandhi Ground in Ambala Cantonment is being constructed by the Municipal Council due to the efforts of Cabinet Minister Anil Vij. The project, costing approximately Rs. 5.5 crore, is being executed in two phases. 

The first phase has been completed and the second phase is currently underway, with a target to complete it within the next two months.
