ST Community Influencers meet DM Kishtwar for Dharti Abha Janjatiya Gramin Utkarsh Abhiyan

Members of the Scheduled Tribe (ST) community called on District Magistrate Kishtwar, Rajesh Kumar Shavan and apprised him about their role in awareness of Dharti Abha Janjatiya Gramin Utkarsh Abhiyan.

The DM listened and assured them that best efforts will be made to aware everyone. He also encouraged the ST community to actively participate in the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan and urged community influencers to spread awareness about the initiative's benefits and importance. 

He said that all critical gaps of development shall be identified in ST Bastis. The DM emphasized the need for collective efforts to ensure the program's success and improve the lives of tribal communities.

It is pertinent to mention that, under the aegis of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, the District Administration Kishtwar will launch the “Dharti Aabha Abhiyan: Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camps” from 15th June to 30th June 2025 across various tribal villages in the district.

The objective of this campaign is to achieve saturation-level coverage of key government schemes and welfare programs for the tribal population, particularly in remote and underserved areas.
