He met with stranded passengers, including students en-route to Srinagar for examinations, and directed NHIDCL authorities to prioritize road clearance to ensure their safe passage and timely arrival.
The DC appealed to the public to plan their travel according to traffic advisories, noting that district authorities are working to restore closed road patches. The DC was accompanied by senior officials, including ADC Pawan Kotwal, ACR Idress Lone, SDM Chatroo, Tehsildar Chatroo and NHIDCL authorities.
