In a compassionate outreach to underserved and remote communities, Deputy Commissioner, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, today visited Kriya village of Tehsil Ramban, where he personally interacted with a specially-abled young girl and ensured immediate support for her well-being and dignity.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner was moved by the girl’s situation and took prompt action to facilitate her inclusion in key welfare schemes. He directed officials on the spot to enroll her for an AADHAAR card, process her Disability Pension, and extend other relevant assistance from the District Administration.

Accompanied by senior district officers, DC Ramban also issued instructions for the immediate opening of a bank account in her name to ensure direct and timely transfer of financial assistance and pension benefits.

This humanitarian intervention is part of the district administration’s ongoing commitment to inclusive governance and social justice, ensuring that the benefits of welfare schemes reach even the most marginalized and remote individuals.

Locals lauded the proactive approach of the Deputy Commissioner, calling it a heartening example of governance with empathy that brings real change to the lives of the needy.
