Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini directed officials to establish a dedicated feedback cell within the Urban Local Bodies Department to collect public input on garbage collection services in municipalities. He said that the feedback cell should be integrated with the CM Dashboard to enable real-time monitoring and continuous improvement of cleanliness initiatives so that cities can be made cleaner and more beautiful.The Chief Minister made these remarks while presiding over a review meeting of the Urban Local Bodies Department here today. Urban Local Bodies Minister Sh. Vipul Goyal also present in the meeting.

Reiterating the commitment to make the cities clean and beautiful, the Chief Minister instructed the department to implement door-to-door garbage collection using advanced technology across all Municipal Corporations, Municipal Councils and Committees so that accurate information about the vehicles and manpower engaged in this work can be available on the basis of live location. He further directed that in cases where the tender deadline is approaching, all related processes should be completed at least 15 days in advance to avoid any delays.

While reviewing the Swachh Survekshan programme, the Chief Minister called for accelerated implementation of related activities across the state. We must work together to improve the state's ranking in the Swachh Survekshan and that special efforts should be made toward this goal. He said that a special campaign was launched to make Dharmakshetra-Kurukshetra the number one city in terms of cleanliness. Social organizations, NGOs and other groups enthusiastically participated to accelerate the cleanliness drive in this religious city. 

To maintain this momentum, the concerned officials should work with a well-structured plan to make the land of the Gita, Kurukshetra, cleaner and more beautiful. A plan should also be made to enhance the grandeur of the Gita Dwar located at Pipli Gate, he added.While reviewing the management of stray cattle, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that captured cattle are relocated to Gaushalas or Nandishalas. He also instructed that the possibility of tagging these cattle with QR codes should be explored, so that complete information about each cattle is readily available to the department. 

He emphasized the need for continuous efforts to make all cities completely free of stray animals.The Chief Minister directed that if any illegal colony is found developing within the municipal areas of the state, prompt action must be taken against those responsible. In addition to imposing heavy penalties on individuals involved in the unauthorized development of such colonies, immediate notices should be issued, and FIRs should be registered. Furthermore, officials should identify slum areas within their jurisdictions so that proper housing can be constructed and allotted to the residents.

He also called for exploring the use of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds for urban beautification projects such as wall paintings. He also reviewed the progress of the Swamitva Yojana, Gobardhan Yojana, and Solid Waste Management Portal, providing necessary directions for each initiative.During the meeting, it was shared that Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, in a recent Chief Secretaries’ Conference, had praised Haryana’s Solid Waste Management Portal and encouraged other states to develop similar platforms.

Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sh Arun Kumar Gupta, Commissioner and Secretary Urban Local Bodies Department Sh Vikas Gupta, Director General Sh Pankaj, OSD to the Chief Minister Sh Bharat Bhushan Bharti, all Commissioners of Municipal Corporations, District Municipal Commissioners and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.
