The manicured fairways of Chandigarh Golf Club played host to more than a friendly competition this Saturday, as alumni from premier institutions gathered for the 6th EVA Inter-Alumni Golf Tournament. Presented by Grey Marble Infra Pvt. Ltd. (GMI Infra), the event underscored the company’s belief that true progress depends as much on the health and unity of its people as on its physical infrastructure.

As presenting sponsor, GMI Infra’s delegation personally recognized each participating dignitary with a commemorative token. Leading the gesture was  Kunal Bansal, CFO and Director GMI Infra And Trustee GMI Charitable Trust. “Sport teaches us teamwork, perseverance and respect,” Bansal observed. “Just as a city thrives on well-designed roads and buildings, a nation flourishes when its citizens are active, connected, and inspired.”

Beyond the ceremonial presentations, GMI Infra used the occasion to reinforce its broader mission: infrastructure as an enabler of dreams and enterprise. The company’s portfolio—from state-of-the-art IT parks to mixed-use townships—reflects its commitment to creating environments that foster both economic growth and community well-being.

Organizers and participants alike praised GMI Infra’s hands-on involvement. “Having a leading developer like GMI Infra at our side elevates this tournament beyond sport,” said one alumnus. “It reminds us that corporate responsibility extends into every corner of society—from boardrooms to playing fields.”

As the sun set on the final putt, the message was clear: success isn’t measured solely by trophies, but by momentum—of the body, the mind, and the community. For GMI Infra, showing up for events like this is about more than brand visibility; it’s about fulfilling its vision of nation-building through sport, collaboration and shared purpose.
