The Divya Kala Mela Jammu witnessed a lively and engaging cultural evening, where the audience danced to the tunes of the performances. Famous artists Sonali Dogra, Varsha Jamwal, and Chaman Lehri captivated the crowd with their melodious voices, leaving the audience mesmerized.

The cultural evening featured various programs designed to showcase the rich cultural heritage of India. Attendees enjoyed the vibrant performances, creating an unforgettable atmosphere and making the evening truly memorable.

On this special occasion, the Chief Guest, MLA Ramgarh & Former Minister for Health and Medical Education J&K, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, alongside MLA Kathua & Former JKAS Officer, Dr. Bharat Bhushan, highlighted the significance of the event in promoting economic inclusion for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).

Dr. Manyal urged the public to actively participate in this noble initiative and support the empowerment of PwDs. Organized by the National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NDFDC), the fair is showcasing a diverse array of products from nearly 100 artisans and entrepreneurs with disabilities, representing more than 20 States and Union Territories.

The exhibition features a wide variety of goods including handicrafts, handlooms, embroidery, home décor, eco-friendly products, clothing, stationery, toys, gifts, personal accessories, jewellery, packaged food, and organic products.

A major highlight of the event is the series of cultural performances by Divyang artists, as well as well-known professionals. A special program, Divya Kala Shakti, is scheduled for February 24, where the immense talent and creativity of people with disabilities will take center stage.

In addition to the exhibitions and performances, visitors have the opportunity to savor regional cuisines from across the country, adding to the rich cultural experience. This fair serves as a platform to celebrate the artistic and entrepreneurial spirit of Divyang individuals, while fostering a more inclusive society where PwDs can contribute meaningfully to the economy. The public is encouraged to visit the event, explore the diverse range of products, and celebrate the creativity and resilience of PwDs.
