SSP Deepak Pareek Launches Modern Beat Box on Airport Road

Chhat Lights, Airport Chowk and Zirakpur to have also such Beat Boxes in Coming Days

In its endeavour to transform the traditional beat boxes with Modern Ones, SSP Deepak Pareek launched Modern Police Beat Box at Airport Road on Saturday in the presence of SP (Headquarter) Harinder Singh Mann and DSP (Traffic) Karnail Singh.          

He said that the move is aimed at giving these beat box a new look with updated infrastructure like CCTV cameras and flashing light and ease of access to policing. Further these beat boxes will also be beneficial for the police personnel on duty. 

He said the beat box soon be equipped with running LED also. SSP Pareek further said this is the second Modern Beat Box set up today, earlier the first one was inaugurated at Majri by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ropar Range, Harcharan Singh Bhullar, a few days ago. 

Soon, such modern beat boxes to come up at Chhat Lights, Airport Chowk and Zirakpur with new look. He said that the CCTVs set up at these beat boxes will be helpful to check the traffic violations besides handling accident cases and keep a close watch on bad elements.

He said that in the coming days the entire Mohali would have such Beat boxes to enhance Police monitoring in the district.
