Reviewing the performance of Revenue Officers and Sub Divisional Magistrates, the Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain, today, directed the SDMs to complete the activities related to maps under SVAMITVA scheme to provide ownership rights in Lal Dora area residents. She said that the progress related to SVAMITVA should be regularly monitored by the Sub Divisional Magistrates to expedite the work.
She also asked to to verify the maps 2 handed over to Kharat and Mohali sub divisions. Getting th status of pendency of Mutations and Partition cases, the Deputy Commissioner asked the Revenue Officers and SDMs to dispose of these in time and focus on those who are beyond timeline on priority. She asked them to get the completion of Jamabandis through revenue field staff strictly and no body would be relieved, in case of transfer from one patwar circle to other, till the Consignment of Jamabandis.
Showing concern over the pending recovery of stamp duties under section 47-A and as per court orders, the Deputy Commissioner said that recoveries should be augmented to deposit it to the government treasury. Deputy Commissioner directed the revenue officers to not to let any problem to the public Visit Sub Registrar offices and Tehsil Offices and the delivery of services would be done without any further delay.
