The Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal reviewed the progress achieved in the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna (PMUY) scheme. The meeting included key stakeholders, including Area Sale Manager from HPCL and representatives from BPCL and IOCL, who participated virtually.

At the outset, AD FCS & CA Adil Shabir briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the progress of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna (PMUY) in the district. The District Nodal Officer and LPG Field Officers outlined the procedures mandated by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG) for managing PMUY connections, emphasizing that no refills will be provided beyond initial installations.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of activating inactive connections and urged the team to complete the e-KYC process within a week. He also directed the AD FCS&CA to ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of the PMUY scheme promptly.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of providing maximum access to cooking gas to eligible beneficiaries from underprivileged households. This initiative aims to improve their quality of life and promote cleaner energy solutions.
