The 80th edition of CMAI’s National Garment Fair (NGF) 2025, Spring-Summer edition being held from January 15 to 17, 2025 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai was inaugurated by India’s leading Value Retailer, Shri Ram Chandra Agarwal, Chairman & Managing Director of V2 Retail Ltd. They are currently on an exciting expansion path which is perhaps the fastest in the industry having 150+ stores across 112 cities in India with more than 10. lac sq. ft. of retail space in just about a decade.

Spanning a remarkable 7 lakh square feet of exhibition space, 80th NGF 2025, features over 1220 apparel brands and 1120 stalls, showcasing the latest Spring-Summer collections across men’s, women’s, and kids wear. This grand-scale trade fair is exemplary as it fosters invaluable B2B connections, providing a unique opportunity for industry players to collaborate, expand their reach, and contribute to the dynamic growth of India’s domestic retail market.

Acknowledged as the largest biannual trade fair in the Indian apparel sector, NGF continues to set industry benchmarks by combining innovation, creativity, and sustainability. The fair continues to serve the Indian Apparel industry as a premier platform uniting manufacturers, retailers, designers, and fashion professionals to explore the latest trends and business opportunities. Speaking about the consumer demand for the upcoming spring-summer season, Mr. Rahul Mehta, Chief Mentor, Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), expressed, “Consumers today are more discerning, seeking styles that are as sustainable as they are stylish. The trends at the show depict a notable shift where demand for innovative and latest styles continues to grow. As the industry addresses inventory bam acklogs from the End-of-Season Sale, it’s clear that meeting these elevated expectations will be key to a successful season ahead.” 

As the apparel industry continues to evolve, with a retail market size of INR 5.4 lakh crore, events like the National Garment Fair (NGF) play a crucial role in shaping its future. NGF 2025, will not only highlight the latest trends but also strengthen its position as the leading platform for innovation and collaboration. By bringing together pan India retailers and manufacturers, NGF fosters efficiency and networking within the apparel ecosystem, driving the industry toward a more sustainable and thriving future. 

A unique scheme has been exclusively launched at the show by CMAI with Digital Finance Partner BillMart wherein industry members and associates can avail services like purchase bill discounting, sales bill discounting, vendor financing, dealer financing and other such requirements. They also have a booth at the show promoting these finance schemes.
