Chitkara International School celebrated its Annual Function, titled “Pushp - A Flowery Tale Experience”, with unparalleled grandeur and fervour across its Chandigarh and Panchkula campuses.

Marking the 13th Annual Function for the Chandigarh campus and the 4th for the Panchkula campus, the event embraced the splendour of flowers as its central theme, symbolising growth, beauty, and the blossoming potential of students.

Each campus unfolded its own unique tale, brimming with creativity, cultural performances, and a shared commitment to excellence in education. The Panchkula campus hosted a magnificent one-day celebration that radiated splendour and joy.

The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr Varun Choudhary, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Mr Satpal Kaushik, District Education Officer, Panchkula, and Mr Shekhar Chandra, Regional Officer, CBSE, Panchkula.

Their inspiring words of encouragement and their unwavering support elevated the significance of the event, making it a memorable experience for all in attendance. Meanwhile, the Chandigarh campus showcased its grandeur through a spectacular three-day celebration.

This remarkable event was honoured by the presence of Ms Shipra Bansal, Chairperson, Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR), and Ms Prerna Puri, Secretary, Education, Chandigarh Administration, as chief guests.

Their thought-provoking speeches highlighted the critical role of innovation and holistic education in nurturing young minds, setting a tone of inspiration and motivation for the grand celebration. The visionary leadership of the Chitkara Educational Trust was a cornerstone of the event’s success.

The occasion was graced by Dr Ashok Chitkara, Chancellor, Chitkara University, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh; Dr Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, Chitkara University, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, and Chairperson, Chitkara International Schools; and Mr Mohit Chitkara, Vice President, Chitkara University, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.

Their invaluable guidance, words of encouragement, and steadfast commitment to holistic education deeply resonated with the audience and inspired the students to strive for excellence. Both campuses of Chitkara International School blossomed into breathtaking realms of creativity and artistic grandeur, as students unveiled captivating performances inspired by the ethereal theme of flowers.

From spellbinding theatrical displays and elegant cultural dances to soul-stirring musical renditions and thought-provoking skits, each act radiated the students' remarkable talent, boundless imagination, and deep connection to both contemporary and timeless themes.

These extraordinary performances came together to form a vibrant mosaic of innovation, sustainability, and cultural heritage, leaving the audience spellbound and profoundly moved. To add a whimsical flair, the vivacious ensemble "Pushpwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge" (PDLJ) enchanted the crowd with their playful interludes, infusing the celebration with laughter and ensuring the event sparkled with joyous energy throughout.

Enhancing the grandeur of the event was the magnificent “Pushp Bagicha,” a stunning and symbolic backdrop that beautifully embodied the school’s motto, “Bridge the Gap, Explore Your Potential.”

With its intricate and ethereal design, the bridge stood as a metaphor for growth and transformation, elegantly connecting two worlds the tangible realm and the dreamlike dimension where fairy tales and romance intertwine.

This poetic representation of the students’ journey of evolution infused an aura of magic into the festivities. In her heartfelt address, Dr Niyati Chitkara, Director of Chitkara International School, expressed profound gratitude to the dignitaries, parents, and students for their unwavering support and enthusiasm.

She remarked, “The Annual Function is a celebration of our students’ hard work, creativity, and the values we hold dear as a school. The theme of flowers, symbolising growth and potential, resonates deeply with our philosophy.

Events like these strengthen our resolve to continue nurturing leaders of tomorrow.” The Annual Function of Chitkara International School stands as a grand testament to the school’s unwavering dedication to holistic development and academic excellence.

With the vibrant theme of flowers as its foundation, the event symbolised unity, growth, and the blossoming potential of its students. This spectacular celebration brought together the entire school community, uniting students, parents, and educators in a shared vision of shaping a brighter, more inspired future.
