Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) Director Administration Jasbir Singh Sur Singh visited Guru Gobind Singh Super Thermal Power Plant (GGSSTP), Rupnagar on Tuesday, and held various important meetings. According to an official spokesman here on Wednesday, during this visit Director Administration held meetings with members of Thermal Worker Sangharsh Committee and Contractor Karamchari Union.
He patiently heard grievances of the workers and assured to extend every possible help. He assured to sort out genuine grievances of contract workers on priority workers. Director Administration Jasbir Singh Sur Singh also held a meeting with MLA Dinesh Chadha. Director Administration brought to the notice of MLA Chadha that workers are facing difficulties in transporting ash-filled tippers due to the roads in dilapidated condition.
He urged upon MLA to intervene and get the roads repaired at the earliest possible time for ensuring smooth ply of tippers on the roads. Director Administration hoped that the roads issue would be resolved soon. Among others, GGSSTP, Rupnagar Chief Engineer Er. Harish Sharma and other Deputy Chief Engineers were present on the occasion.
