Renowned Expert Chetan Sahore Inspires Students at Desh Bhagat University with Talk on Entrepreneurship Development

Desh Bhagat University hosted a remarkable event where Mr. Chetan Sahore, the esteemed National Head of the Entrepreneurship & Rural Development Centre,(ERDC), delivered a motivational talk on the theme "Need for Entrepreneurship Development."

The aim of this motivational talk, organized by the Faculty of Performing Arts and Media at Desh Bhagat University in collaboration with department of IEDC, was to inspire students and faculty members to embrace entrepreneurship as a path to innovation and economic growth.

Mr. Sahore, widely recognized for his dedication to fostering entrepreneurship across India, has spent his career addressing societal challenges, particularly unemployment, by encouraging entrepreneurial solutions.

In his talk, Mr. Sahore highlighted the pivotal role of entrepreneurship in driving personal and national progress. He emphasized the need for young minds to think creatively, take calculated risks, and develop problem-solving skills to succeed in today’s competitive landscape. 

"Entrepreneurship is not merely about creating businesses; it is about building a better future for society by addressing its needs innovatively," he remarked. The session was both insightful and inspiring, filled with real-world examples, actionable strategies, and anecdotes from Mr. Sahore’s extensive experience. 

Students were particularly motivated by his call to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset, which he described as critical to navigating the challenges of the modern economy. Dr. Harsh Sadawarti Vice President,Desh Bhagat University praised Mr. Sahore’s commitment to empowering young individuals, stating that his visit was a significant step toward building a culture of innovation on campus.

Among others, officials from ERDC Ms. Abhisha Jindal and Mr. Kavneet Singh,was present on this occasion. The event concluded with an enthusiastic round of applause, as students expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn from a leader of such caliber. In the closing remarks, Dr. Surjeet Patheja, Director Performing Art and Media, thanked Mr. Sahore for his invaluable insights.
