Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labor Sh. Anil Vij, said that today is the day to celebrate the glorious victory of the BJP in the assembly elections. A large number of workers have gathered to join in this celebration.Sh. Anil Vij addressing a significant gathering of workers at the BJP event held at BPS Planetarium in Ambala Cantonment today.
The Cabinet Minister mentioned that this election was different in many ways. He pointed out that some individuals betrayed them and tried to inflict damage. These were people who had been ministers for ten years and, when the opportunity came, switched sides.
In his first meeting, he had declared that anyone who wanted to leave could do so, as there was a market outside offering good prices, but neither he nor any loyal worker would go to persuade anyone. He emphasized that even if only ten true workers remained with him, he would win the election.
Just as only pure gold remains after metal is melted in a furnace, the workers who stayed with him during the assembly elections are like pure gold. During the event, Anil Vij honored booth, ward, and zone heads who secured large margins of victory. Thousands of workers celebrated with him.
Prominent BJP leaders such as Sanjeev Soni, Rajeev Dimple, Kiranpal Chauhan, Jasbir Jassi, Kapil Vij, and others were also present in large numbers. The workers gave a warm welcome to Cabinet Minister Anil Vij upon his arrival.
*My star campaigners are my workers- Anil Vij*
Sh. Vij stated that out of the 13 surrounding constituencies, Ambala Cantonment was the only one where they won. This time, he fought the election differently and experimented by listing only his development works in his meetings, as he ran on a platform of development.
Although others invited star campaigners and pressured him to hold rallies, he chose to contest on his own strength. When asked why he didn’t bring in star campaigners, he replied that his workers are his star campaigners.
*Anil Vij sarcastically remarked, “Buffaloes don’t die just because butchers say so”*
Sh. Vij noted that when exit polls were predicting the BJP’s defeat, he was the lone voice declaring them incorrect, stating that there was a wave in favor of the BJP and that they would form the government with a full majority. On election results day, all exit poll predictions proved wrong.
He had full confidence that he and the party would win and that he would become a minister. He mocked those who spread rumors about him not getting a ticket, not winning, or the party not forming the government, all of which were proven false.
*Minister Anil Vij called upon workers to prepare for municipal council elections*
He urged workers to recognize their true allies and prepare for upcoming municipal council elections. He emphasized the importance of unity and directed them to join the ongoing membership drive, using the provided WhatsApp link. He quoted Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath’s motto, “batengen to kategen” and stressed unity. He mentioned that the party had shed its waste in this election and praised the significant contributions of female workers.
*Honoring booth, ward, and zone heads who secured large margins of victory*
Anil Vij honored booth, ward, and zone heads who won with the largest margins. Among the ward heads, he recognized Sheel Nain, Surendra Sethi, Vipin Khanna, and others. Similarly, zone heads Jasbir Singh Jassi, Naresh Sharma, Shyam Sundar Arora, and Surendra Bindra were honored, along with others from the booth category, including Shubham from Bandhu Nagar and Deepak Kaushik from Shastri Colony.
*We will not let our Chief Minister’s name be tarnished- Vij*
Sh.Vij disclosed that several forces were working against him in the election. A certain Ashish Tayal, for example, persuaded people to join Chitra Sarwara’s camp, and Vij has all the evidence. Tayal posted pictures with Nayab Saini on Facebook to influence officials and workers. Vij demanded that Tayal remove these photos from Facebook, as he had worked against the BJP. He declared that he wouldn’t let the Chief Minister’s name be defamed.
*The administration tried to defeat me-Vij*
He revealed that several plots were hatched against him during the election. The administration attempted to ensure his defeat, which he believes warrants an investigation. The municipal council halted approved roadwork and other projects. Additionally, attempts were made to incite violence to impact the election.
He cited an incident in Shahpur village where people, armed with sticks, disrupted his program, despite it having election commission approval. His security was inexplicably reduced the day before this event, raising questions about the police’s role and the intentions of the administration.
