Principal Secretary, Employment Generation and In Charge Secretary to District SAS Nagar, Mrs Jaspreet Talwar along with Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain, today visited School of Eminence, Phase 11 and Govt High School, Mauli Baidwan to take the stock of Mega Parent-Teacher Meet drive.

While interacting with the parents and students at School of Eminence, Phase 11, Mrs Talwar said that the Mega PTM drive would help to strengthen the ties between the parents and teachers to boost the career of the students. She said that earlier the teacher-parent meeting went unnoticed due to taking it not seriously in government schools by the parents but nowadays the situation has changed; now the school infrastructure have been upgraded to compete with the private ones and the level of education has improved. 

She said that Students are becoming smart equivalent to private and excelling in studies as well as co-curricular activities in government schools. She said the dual feedback exchange of Teacher and Parent helps to improve the performance of students further.

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner, Mrs Aashika Jain visited the Government High School, Naya Gaon to review the progress of Mega Parent Teacher Meet. She was surprised to see the exhibition having beautiful stories written by students in their own style and language. She said that the students were full of confidence, which was a positive vibe of this meeting. 

Visiting Govt Middle School Kansal, the Deputy Commissioner, interacts with the parents, teachers and students to get their feedback about the current education being imparted to them in government schools. She said that the aim of organizing the Mega PTM was to make the parents aware of the improved infrastructure and learning skills.She said that all the schools enjoyed this PTM not only meeting the parents but also organising exhibitions of science projects, maths projects and literary books. 

The Principal Secretary and Deputy Commissioner also visited the Government Primary School of Mauli Biadwan and interacted with junior students and their parents and teachers. District Education Officer (Secondary) Ginni Duggal and Principal of School of Eminence, Phase 11 apprised the Principal Secretary and  Deputy Commissioner of the performance of the school.
