In preparation for the upcoming Assembly Elections-2024, the General Election Observer for district Ganderbal, R. Lakshmanan today oversaw the second randomization of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) here in the V.C Room of DC office.

This important step in the election process is designed to ensure impartiality and transparency by randomly assigning EVMs to different polling locations across the district.Speaking at the event, the General Election Observer highlighted the significance of the randomization process in maintaining the integrity of the electoral process.

He expressed confidence that the transparent and fair assignment of EVMs will further strengthen the credibility of the elections, contributing to a successful democratic exercise in the district. The randomization process was attended by Returning Officers (ROs) of Ganderbal and Kangan Assembly Constituencies, District Informatics Officer, as well as representatives of various political parties, who witnessed the procedure firsthand.

Using advanced software, the randomization process ensured complete fairness, eliminating any potential for bias in the allocation of EVMs. This key measure is integral to the preparations for conducting free, fair, and transparent elections in Ganderbal.
