Teachers’ Day was celebrated at Rayat Bahra University today where teachers who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring students to reach their full potential were honoured. Functions to mark the occasion were organised by University School of Management Studies, University School of Allied Sciences, and University School of Law.
Speaking on the occasion, Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University, said today we celebrate the remarkable impact our teachers have on shaping the future. Teachers are the backbone of our educational system.
He said their influence extends far beyond the classroom, shaping the future of our society Their passion, innovation, and tireless efforts deserve to be acknowledged and celebrated. Dr Parvinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor, said Teachers’ Day is an opportunity to thank teachers for all the wonderful work they do for the students.
Dr Singh said teachers not only teach students how to read and write but they show them how to be kind to others and to do their best. The amazing teachers inspire children to dream big and work hard to achieve the goals.
