Surjit Hockey Academy Jalandhar defeated PIS Mohali 2-0  to register 6th Victory in the Punjab Hockey League (PHL) 2024 and bagged 17th points at Olympian Balbir Singh Senior International Hockey Stadium Mohali. They are on second position after playing 8 matches in Punjab Hockey League. Sahajpreet Singh of Surjit Hockey Academy was declared the best player of the match.

Surjit Hockey Academy displayed excellent performance from the very beginning of the match. In the 11th minute of the game, Kushal Sharma of Surjit Academy scored through a penalty corner to make the score 1-0. Surjit Academy was leading 1-0 at half time. Mohali scored through two consecutive penalty corners, Missed opportunities. In the 48th minute of the game, Ajaypal Singh of Surjit Academy scored a brilliant goal and won the match by making the score 2-0.
