The district administration organized a camp in Gidderwindi village, Jagraon sub-division of Ludhiana under the "Sarkar Tuhade Dwar" program of the Punjab Government on Tuesday. During the camp, many individuals including Kunti (57) of Bassian, Amarjeet Kaur (78) of Bharowal Kalan, Jaspal Kaur (58) of Galib Kalan, Balraj Singh (66), Gurmeet Kaur (58), Kulwant Kaur (59), Maghar Singh (67), Manpreet Kaur (32), Soma Bai (30), Sawaranjeet Kaur (58), Tarsem Singh (65) of Gidderwindi, Kulwant Kaur (59) of Gorisan Makhan, Amarjit Kaur (67), Harnek Singh (67) of Majri and Paramjeet Kaur (60) of Swaddi Kalan received prompt approval for old-age pension, widow pension, and senior citizen cards during the camp.
They expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and the district administration for making the camp accessible to them as they were unable to visit the local office. The camp was inaugurated by MLA Jagraon Sarvjit Kaur Manuke. She interacted with the beneficiaries and handed over sanction letters of various pension schemes.
She mentioned that the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann-led Punjab government has been conducting special camps to ensure that the benefits of government services and schemes reach the masses. She stressed the importance of ensuring that all eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of government social welfare schemes and directed 100% utilization of all government welfare schemes in the camps.
Officials from other departments were also present. The desks set up by different departments provided services to the people.

ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ 'ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੁਆਰ' ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੀ ਜਗਰਾਉਂ ਸਬ-ਡਵੀਜ਼ਨ ਅਧੀਨ ਪਿੰਡ ਗਿੱਦੜਵਿੰਡੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਕੈਂਪ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਕੈਂਪ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਢਾਪਾ ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨ, ਵਿਧਵਾ ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਸਿਟੀਜ਼ਨ ਕਾਰਡਾਂ ਲਈ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਗੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੱਸੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੁੰਤੀ (57), ਭਰੋਵਾਲ ਕਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ (78), ਜਸਪਾਲ ਕੌਰ (58) ਗਾਲਿਬ ਕਲਾਂ, ਬਲਰਾਜ ਸਿੰਘ (66), ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਕੌਰ (58), ਕੁਲਵੰਤ ਕੌਰ (59), ਮੱਘਰ ਸਿੰਘ (67), ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ (32), ਸੋਮਾ ਬਾਈ (30), ਸਵਰਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ (58), ਤਰਸੇਮ ਸਿੰਘ (65) ਗਿੱਦੜਵਿੰਡੀ, ਕੁਲਵੰਤ ਕੌਰ (59), ਗੋਰਸੀਆਂ ਮੱਖਣ (59), ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ (67), ਹਰਨੇਕ ਸਿੰਘ (67) ਮਾਜਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ (60) ਵਾਸੀ ਸਵੱਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਅਸਮਰੱਥ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਕੈਂਪ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਪਹੁੰਚਯੋਗ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕੈਂਪ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕਾ ਜਗਰਾਉਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਸਰਵਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਮਾਣੂੰਕੇ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਪੱਤਰ ਸੌਂਪੇ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣਾ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਕੈਂਪ ਲਗਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਯੋਗ ਲਾਭਪਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਮਾਜ ਭਲਾਈ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਮਿਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਂਪਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਦੀ 100ਫੀਸਦ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ। ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਡੈਸਕਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ।
