In a determined display of unity and resolve, NSUI Punjab President Isherpreet Singh Sidhu led a peaceful protest and demonstration alongside numerous MBBS students from The White Medical College & Hospital, Pathankot, outside the Punjab MLA Hostel. The protestors, including around 250 students, aimed to march to the Chief Minister's Office to voice their grievances and demands, but were halted by the police before reaching their destination.

The MBBS students are raising their voices against the deplorable conditions at their college, highlighting the severe lack of equipment and facilities, including the absence of a functioning OPD. Their protest is directed at Swaran Salaria, the Chairman of the college and the Vice President of Aam Aadmi Party Punjab.

The students are being subjected to harassment, and their education and future careers are at stake due to the inadequate resources and support at the institution.NSUI Punjab, fully supporting the protest, is committed to fighting for the rights of these students.

Isherpreet Singh Sidhu emphasized the critical need for proper educational facilities and a conducive learning environment for the future doctors of our state and nation. The demands for better infrastructure and the right to transfer to other institutions are just and necessary for the students' growth and professional development.

"We stand with the students of The White Medical College & Hospital in their fight against injustice and lack of facilities. It is unacceptable that our future doctors are being deprived of essential learning tools and opportunities. NSUI Punjab will continue to support their cause until their demands are met and justice is served," stated Isherpreet Singh Sidhu.

Despite the students being detained during the protest, the spirit and determination of NSUI Punjab and the students remain unshaken. Isherpreet Singh Sidhu has assured the students that NSUI Punjab will persist in advocating for their rights and will not rest until their demands are addressed and their future secured.
