Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya along with his family members on Wednesday had a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at Parliament House, New Delhi. The Governor presented the idol of ‘Virat Swaroop’ of Lord Shri Krishna to Prime Minister Shri Modi on the occasion.
Haryana Governor Shri Dattatraya extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on becoming the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive term. The Governor discussed with Prime Minister Shri Modi various issues related to Haryana’s history, socio-cultural legacy, and development projects going on in the state.
Lady Governor Smt Bandaru Vasantha, her daughter Smt Bandaru Vijayalakshmi, son-in-law Dr B Jignesh Reddy, Shri Bandaru Shiva Shankar and granddaughters of Hon’ble Governor – Miss Yashodhara Reddy and Miss Vedanshi Reddy – also met Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Miss Yashodhara and Miss Vedanshi also sang two songs in Hindi for the Prime Minister. These songs were – “माँ से ज्यादा मात्रभूमि को जिसने मान दिया, खुद का जीवन भी जिसने भारत के नाम किया’’ and “आज दिल पे हाथ रख के ये कसम ले हम सभी, न झुकेगा देश अपना न झुकेंगे हम कभी!’’ Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi likes the songs and blessed them.
