Two independent candidates Vivek Sharma and Mahant Shri Ravikant Muni Udasi extended their support to BJP candidate for Chandigarh Lok Sabha constituency Sanjay Tandon. Vivek Sharma announced his support to Tandon in presence of Union Minister Piyush Goyal. Mahant Shri Ravikant Muni Udasi also extended support to Tandon by meeting the LS candidate.

On this occasion, BJP candidate Sanjay Tandon expressed his gratitude to both the candidates and said that both the candidates were impressed by the development model of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and decided not to contest the election and to campaign in favour of BJP.

On this occasion, the two people who extended their support, Vivek Sharma and Mahant Shri Ravikant Muni Udasi, expressed their views and said that just like the country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi is engaged in serving the country, in the same way, BJP candidate from Chandigarh Sanjay Tandon has been serving the people of Chandigarh for the last many years. 

On the other hand, Congress candidate Manish Tiwari was absent from his Lok Sabha during and after the Corona period and left the people in his constituency at the mercy of God.
