More than 1000 women from different villages of the Sanaur constituency reached the Moti Bagh Palace on Sunday and voluntarily joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Preneet Kaur, the BJP candidate from Patiala Lok Sabha constituency, warmly welcomed all these women to the BJP party.

After joining the BJP, the women told the BJP leader Preneet Kaur that their names were removed from the Atta-Dal scheme and that they were not getting free medicines in government hospitals besides the Aam Aadmi Party has not even fulfilled its promise of giving Rs 1,000 to women every month.

After hearing about all the issues being faced by the women, the BJP leader Preneet Kaur said that whenever any AAP leader comes to their houses to ask for votes, they must be asked to give an account for the balance of Rs 26,000 for the last 26 months, as per the promise made to them.

BJP leader Preneet Kaur told these women that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has promised to make three crore women 'Lakhpati Didi' across the country while she has set a target for herself to make one lakh 'Lakhpati Didi' in Patiala. She said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi fulfills whatever promises he makes.

Preneet Kaur told the women who joined the BJP that "Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, houses have been built for two lakh people for Rs 27 crore, 13 lakh free gas connections have been provided to women to give them a relief from smoke, the free ration is being provided to over 1.41 crore people under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, Rs 8,390 crores were spent for the development of 13,390 villages, under the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, 9.6 lakh accounts were opened in the name of girls and more than 13.3 lakh women and children were benefited by carrying out nutrition campaigns through Sahi Poshan, Desh Roshan Yojana."

Furthermore, Preneet Kaur shared her sorrows and joys with the women and said that the future of Patiala, Punjab, and our children is safe only with the BJP. She said that due to the trust received from the people of Patiala, the important development works of Patiala district have been carried out till now and many other important works including Ghaggar are to be completed in the future.

"Only with the confidence of people of Patiala and their support on June 1, I will be able to arrange massive development funds from the central government for all the necessary development works," she added.

On this occasion, Manisha Gulati said that not more than 1000 women from across the district showed up to gather in Priyanka Gandhi's program at Patiala, but more than a thousand women from the Sanaur area alone voluntarily joined Maharani Preneet Kaur today. Senior leaders including Bikraminder Jeet Singh Chahal, the constituency in-charge of the Sanaur, Manisha Gulati, Gagan Shergill, and Jaspal were present during the occasion.
