Addressing a program organized on Friday by the District Bar Association, the BJP candidate from Patiala Lok Sabha seat Preneet Kaur said that the foundation of her victory in the Lok Sabha elections will be the trust of the people of Patiala. She said that this trust was not built in a day.

She said she has been continuously sharing the joys and sorrows of Patiala residents for the last 25 years, therefore, the entire Patiala is also sharing their sorrows and joys. She said that she always considered this trust, built on the basis of mutual support, as her strength.

This is the reason why today Aam Aadmi Party, Congress, and Shiromani Akali Dal are united against me, but despite this, the confidence of the people of Patiala is giving me the strength to fight these three opposition parties."

She said that the people of Patiala know that Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister of the country for the third time and the people of Patiala will be able to secure the future of their children and the state by strengthening the hands of PM Narendra Modi.

Addressing a large gathering of lawyers in the main hall of the District Bar Association, Preneet Kaur said that even at the time when there was an alliance between the BJP and the Akali Dal, Patiala was not kept as part of the BJP. This is the first time that Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded her as Lok Sabha candidate from Patiala.

There is an opportunity to increase the power of Narendra Modi and this opportunity can be fully utilized in the Lok Sabha elections which are set to be held on June 1. I think it would be better to be a part of the BJP to get Punjab out of difficult times," she said.

BJP candidate Preneet Kaur said that keeping in mind the convenience and safety of the lawyer community and the people coming to the district court, there was a demand to build an underpath on Mall Road near Capital Cinema.

She said she will make all possible efforts to fulfill this demand immediately after winning the Lok Sabha elections. She further said that even before she was the Member of Parliament, she has contributed to the District Bar Association, but will not hesitate to fulfill the Association's needs in the future.

Furthermore, Preneet Kaur said that the current Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is getting all the grants from the Centre, but it has got into the habit of criticizing the PM Modi-led government. In Rajindra Superspeciality Hospital in Patiala, the Punjab government could not even give a single super specialist doctor.

Responding to a question about Swati Maliwal, Preneet Kaur said, "The details that have come out in the FIR filed by Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal against Arvind Kejriwal's PS Bibhav Kumar are very painful. he has been accused of slapping his face 7-8 times and inflicting injuries on his chest, stomach, and sensitive parts. How else will anyone feel safe? I strongly condemn this incident and demand an independent investigation."
