In a significant step towards enhancing awareness and understanding of Juvenile Justice, Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO), and child rights, District Social Welfare Office in collaboration of District Administration organized a comprehensive training cum capacity building programme at the auditorium of Boys Higher Secondary Schools Ganderbal.

The event, spearheaded by the Child Protection Unit of Mission Vatsalya in District Ganderbal, aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to implement and uphold the provisions of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015, POCSO Act 2012, and child rights.

During the day-long programme, stakeholders were provided with comprehensive training, so that they can better understand the unique needs of juveniles, legal framework governing juvenile justice and best practices in rehabilitation and reintegration.
