Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rakesh Minhas today presided over a comprehensive meeting in the DC office complex to review the preparedness for the upcoming Sub Inspector Finance Department Examination. The meeting aimed to ensure meticulous planning for a fair and seamless examination process.

The examination, being conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board, is scheduled to take place on March 10 across 15 centers in the district. A total of 6,320 candidates are expected to appear in the exam.

 The DC assigned duties to the stakeholder departments, emphasizing the importance of transparent smooth examination. The RTO, DTO, Police and Principals of educational institutions were given specific instructions regarding different arrangements.

To ensure comprehensive monitoring, the Information Department was specifically directed to engage videographers who will oversee and record the examination proceedings, ensuring adherence to established protocols.

Magistrates, Center Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents and Observers received comprehensive briefings on their role and responsibilities during the critical recruitment process from the DC. Logistics plans for the examination day were thoroughly reviewed by the DC.

To facilitate candidates, the DC emphasized making adequate arrangements for drinking water and toilet facilities. The DC called for the implementation of foolproof arrangements to avoid any malpractices during the examination. He also stressed the need to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines for fair and smooth conduct of the examination.

The DC emphasized the significance of coordinated efforts from various departments to guarantee the integrity and fairness of the examination. Other key attendees at the meeting included SSP Kathua, Shivdeep Singh Jamwal, ADC Ranjit Singh, RTO Kathua, and Designated Magistrates.
