In line with the committment to serving the people of Punjab as per their wishes, the 12th batch of pilgrims departed to Sri Anandpur Sahib under the Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra scheme by MLA Derabassi Kuljit  Singh Randhawa. While flagging off the bus from Gurdwara Sri Nabha Sahib to Sri Anandpur Sahib, Mata Chintapurni, Mata Jawala ji and Mata Naina Devi, today, said that the Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann is known as a man of his word. 

As per his dedication to the state and its residents, improvement in health and education infrastructure, free domestic power up to 600 units, and jobs on purely merit to about 41000 youth are the promises delivered in merely about two years of tenure. He said that the idea of free travelling to the religious places of their beliefs to the people of Punjab is to honour their religious sentiments.

Even, boarding and lodging are being provided free of cost to all the pilgrims, said MLA Randhawa. Extending best wishes to the pilgrims boarding the bus, he also handed over kits consisting of blankets, bedsheets,  pillows along with the required toiletries. 

He said that the bus flagged off today, is the twelfth from the district and the fifth from the Derabassi Constituency. He said that as per the wish of the pilgrims, more buses would be arranged to ferry them to religious places.
