Under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a mega IEC function was held today near Clock Tower where Stalls were set up by various departments to aware the people about their schemes and programmes. Registration counters were also set up by the departments to enroll beneficiaries for various schemes.
During the programme, promotional videos were screened on an IEC van. The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan also visited the place and inspected these stalls and interacted with locals besides taking feedback from beneficiaries about implementation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) in the area.
A photo exhibition was also organised by the Department of Information and Public Relations Kulgam to showcase progress recorded in the district in various sectors, along with exhibitions of art, culture, tourism etc. ADDC Showkat Ahmad Rather; ADC, Viqar Ahmad Giri; ACR Imtiyaz-Ul –Aziz; ACD, Mohd Imran and officials of line departments also attended the programme.
