Shri Braj Mohan Agrawal, Member Infrastructure & DG Safety Railway Board, visited the Patiala Locomotive Works (PLW), a unit of Indian Railways, on January 6, 2024. The purpose of the visit was to assess the manufacturing processes of locomotives and address any challenges faced by the unit.
Upon his arrival, Shri Pramod Kumar, Principal Chief Administrative Officer, warmly welcomed Shri Agrawal. Shri Agrawal visited various shops of PLW. During this inspection, he took a keen interest in the working of the skilled workers, providing valuable advice and commending their dedication.
Following the thorough examination of the main shops, Shri Agrawal convened a meeting with all officers of PLW in the conference hall. The agenda of the meeting was to discuss and find solutions to the challenges encountered in the manufacturing of locomotives.
Shri Agrawal's insightful guidance and recommendations were highly appreciated by the officers present. In recognition of Shri Agrawal's visit and his valuable contributions to the discussions, Shri Pramod Kumar, on behalf of the entire PLW team, honored Shri Agrawal with a memento as a token of appreciation.
