Continuing its endeavour to provide an opportunity to visit sacred places under Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar District Administration has sent another batch of pilgrims for Salasar Dham and Khatu Shyam Dham on Thursday from Majri Sub Tehsil of Kharar.

Divulging  details, SDM Kharar Gurmandar Singh said that the Bus was flagged off by Tehsildar Kharar Jaswinder Singh in the presence of S. Jora Singh Mann (father of Cabinet Minister Anmol Gagan Mann) from Majri. 

He further said that each batch comprises 43 pilgrims whose boarding and lodging arrangements have been borne by the Punjab Government. All the pilgrims have to undergo a medical examination before boarding the bus to ensure a safe journey. 

The pilgrims would be halted at Salasar Dharamshala for a night stay during this two day long journey. The AC bus has been provided by the Punjab Government along with a kit of a blanket, bedsheet and pillow and a toiletry kit each. 

He further added that as per the directions of Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann each constituency has been allocated eight buses for the free pilgrimage of locals to sacred religious places.Devotees while boarding the bus appreciated the move of Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann for providing opportunities to them to visit sacred places free of cost. 

Bhawna and Aarti, young pilgrims from Majri were seeming very Joyous to have an opportunity to pay obeisance to Salasar Dham and Khatu Shyam Dham. Both thanked Punjab Chief Minister for taking the noble initiative to start this pilgrimage especially for those who could not visit as per their wish because of one and another reason.
